| Originally our plan was to head to Prague from Amsterdam, but we had a change in schedule when we were turned away at the Czech border since Fletch (the Canadian) didn't have a visa. Thankfully our friend Herwig, who we were meeting in Vienna, was available a week earlier than planned. |

| We ended up staying a total of six days touring the sights of Vienna, hiking in the hills, visiting some of the many castles scattered throughout the countryside and tasting Austria's famous breads and beer. We also had a chance to catch up with our friends who we hadn't seen in more than two years. It was amazing to visit them in their own country and learn first-hand about their culture and customs. |
