   Our American-style kitchen has turned Fletch into a daily chef. Not only is he finding enjoyment in shopping at the fresh markets, picking out his meats from the local butcher and selecting breads from the bakery three doors down, he is finding tremendous pleasure in trying out new dishes that he never had a chance to at home.
    Desiring the Italian pizza we had when we first landed in Italy, instead of running out to the local pizza place across the street, Fletch was determined to make his own, including the crust.

   Surprisingly, it didn't take him long before the dough was complete, the toppings prepped and the oven heated. Thirty minutes later we were eating a homemade pizza of mushrooms, sausage, buffalo mozzarella, tomato slices and basil. It was better than any pizza we could have purchased.
