| Juan les Pins (where?) proved to be one of our best stops on the Cote d’Azur. A fifteen minute train ride from Cannes and a stone’s throw from Antibes; it is the ideal location to call home when visiting the French Riviera. Not only does it boast a quaint town, the prices are a heck of a lot cheaper than its seaside neighbors. Since most of our days were spent touring the Riviera’s more famed cities, our nights were dedicated to exploring the streets of Juan les Pins, not to mention the great restaurants and bars. We found the service impeccable and the entertainment worthwhile. |

| One of our favorite places turned out to be a Brazilian night club called the Palm Palm where it is impossible to order anything other than a “fru fru” drink. But we certainly didn’t go there for the drinks, it’s the show that reels you in, and keeps you there. Two scantily clad women dance to various Brazilian tunes in a Vegas-style show. And while they are entertaining in their own right, it’s even more fun to watch the reaction of the tourist-filled bar. The scene is priceless. Of course this town isn’t just about drinks and dancing, nearby “old” Antibes offers visitors the chance to step back in time and admire medieval buildings and 4th century Greek ruins. Hmmm, funny that we don't have any pictures of them! |
