| While working for a French company a few years back gave me the opportunity to visit Paris once every six weeks; during those visits I never had the opportunity to visit the city's most recognizable landmark, the Eiffel Tower. Determined not to leave Paris this time without climbing to the top, Fletch and I reserved an entire morning for this event. A quick metro ride put us at the base of the Tower, and since it was winter and a weekday too, the typical few-hour queue was less than 30 minutes. We bought the e-ticket and headed straight to the top. |

| If you haven't done it, the view from the top of the Eiffel Tower is spectacular. A 360 degree view of Paris that is difficult to capture by camera even if you have your panoramic setting on. We spent about a half hour (it was beyond cold up there) circling the two platforms at the pinnacle of the Tower and then headed back to the base, satisfied with our adventure. |
