"I am a part of all that I have met. Yet, all experience is an arch where through gleams that untraveled world where margin fades, forever and forever when I move."

It seems that Portugal's old world charm is best represented in the North. At the recommendation of the owner of our hotel in Porto, we headed to Braga to see Portugal's oldest cathedral. It was well worth the trip as Braga is a quaint town with beautiful gardens, incredible buildings and a very relaxing atmosphere.

One of our best cathedral tours was here. You are given your own personal tour guide to explain the rich history and antiquties that are housed here. I even had a chance to try out one of the old sarcophogi. Of course, this wasn't on the tour.
We must have been hitting tourist sight saturation by the time we arrived in Braga, since visiting the cathedral was the only stop we made. We spent most of our time wandering the city and relaxing in the central square.
