| Our original plan was to stay in San Sebastian and visit the Guggenheim on a day trip to Bilbao. However, when we arrived into San Sebastian, every hotel was booked. A bit apprehensive about staying in Bilbao since it is a "big" city, our concerns were quickly diminished as soon as we arrived. A mixture of modern and historic, Bilbao offers a unique look at Spain's past and future. |

| Not only did we have a chance to visit one of the world's finest modern art musems, we had the opportunity to eat authentic Spanish tapas, view traditional and modern Spainish architecture and soak up the culture of one of Spain's lesser known cities. We certainly discovered that there is more to Bilbao than the Guggenheim. |
