Our walking tour of ancient Rome started at the Palazzo Venezia, continued to the Forum and Palatine Hill, down to the Colosseum, past the Trevi Fountain and concluded at the Pantheon. Surprisingly, we finished our tour in under six hours. With Fletch as our tour guide, we didn’t miss a single important fact about each sight we stopped at. It became a running joke that Fletch was our Roman Cliff Claven.

We were awe-struck by the vast structures and depth of history that overflows ancient Rome. In fact, it’s hard to believe the level of sophistication and artistry that existed more than 2,000 years ago. We were fascinated to be standing in front of the very artifacts that shapes much of our society today, including social structures, philosophy and governmental institutions.
"I just happen to know stuff."
